Privacy Policy
ToolkitPoint is designed to minimize data collection. This page explains, in specific and concrete terms, what happens to your data.
The short version
- Most tools process your file or text entirely inside your browser. It is never uploaded anywhere.
- A small, clearly labeled set of tools sends only the specific value you enter (a domain, a URL, a currency pair) to a named external service to answer your request — never a file.
- ToolkitPoint does not require an account, and does not build advertising profiles from tool inputs.
- Some features save preferences or work temporarily on your device. This includes notes, to-do items, consent preference, and the optional one-hour PDF handoff workspace.
Information processed in your browser
Most text, calculator, PDF, image, and audio/video inputs are processed with browser APIs such as JavaScript, Canvas, the File API, Web Audio, and WebAssembly. Some AI tools first download model files from Hugging Face through Transformers.js or ONNX Runtime; those providers receive ordinary network information such as your IP address, but ToolkitPoint does not send them the text or file you process. Browser speech recognition may use the browser vendor’s online speech service, as disclosed before recording starts. The QR Code Scanner asks for camera permission only when you choose Use camera; frames are decoded locally and are not sent to ToolkitPoint.
Information stored only on your device
The Online Notepad uses workbench-note, the To-Do List uses workbench-todos, and your privacy choice uses toolkitpoint-consent-v1 in localStorage. After optional analytics is accepted, toolkitpoint-analytics-returning-v1 records only that this browser has visited before; declining or withdrawing optional analytics removes it. PDF workflow handoff uses the toolkitpoint-workspace IndexedDB database so a generated PDF can be opened in the next PDF tool. Handoff items expire after one hour and can be removed immediately from the receiving tool. Clearing this site’s stored data removes all of these device-local items.
Information sent to ToolkitPoint's server
Six tools — Domain Lookup, DNS Lookup, Redirect Chain Checker, HTTP Header Checker, Website SEO Checker, and PageSpeed Checker — send the domain or URL you enter to ToolkitPoint's own server, which relays the request to the named authoritative service below and returns the result. What Is My IP sends no form input: ToolkitPoint reports the IP address already visible to its server and requests optional approximate network-location data from ipwho.is. The Currency Converter sends only the selected currency pair and optional date. Standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request, for security, abuse prevention, and reliability; these logs are not used to build advertising profiles.

Loading a script or font from a third-party domain inherently exposes your IP address and basic browser details to that domain, the same as visiting any web page that references outside resources. ToolkitPoint does not send your tool inputs to these services beyond what is explicitly described above.
Optional analytics
When a valid Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, ToolkitPoint uses basic consent mode: the Google tag is completely blocked until a visitor selects “Allow optional analytics.” Choosing “Use essential only” sends no Analytics data. Google signals, advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain disabled. The events intentionally exclude tool inputs, uploaded filenames, generated output, and search terms. A visitor can withdraw optional analytics at any time through Privacy choices in the footer.
Cookies
ToolkitPoint does not load analytics or set analytics cookies unless a visitor explicitly allows optional analytics. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie as part of completing its verification challenge. If advertising is enabled on this site (see below), Google and its advertising partners may set their own cookies, subject to the consent choice described next.
Advertising
If Google AdSense is enabled on this site, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to serve ads, measure their performance, and limit repetition, and may use data from your visits to this and other sites to personalize the ads shown to you. Advertising is not activated by this code until the owner supplies a real publisher ID and configures a Google-certified consent management platform for regions where Google requires one. Until then, optional advertising storage remains off. Once enabled, the footer’s Privacy choices control must remain available so consent can be reviewed or withdrawn. Children's privacy
ToolkitPoint is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to this site, contact us using the details below so it can be removed.
Data retention
Data you store in localStorage remains on your device until you clear it yourself; ToolkitPoint has no way to access or delete it remotely. ToolkitPoint does not add application-level request logging. The hosting provider may retain standard security and access logs under its configured retention policy; the owner must verify that Hostinger setting before launch. These logs are not used by ToolkitPoint for profiling.
Your choices
You can clear all locally stored ToolkitPoint data at any time through your browser's site-data settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over information described in this policy — including the right to ask what is held and to request its deletion. Because almost all processing happens locally and is never sent to ToolkitPoint, there is typically very little to find; contact us using the details below with any request and it will be answered honestly, including saying so when there is simply no server-side data to act on.
International visitors
ToolkitPoint can be used from anywhere. Where a request is routed to a third-party service listed above, that service may process it in a different country than the one you are in.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as tools change. Material changes will update the effective date below.
