Invisible Character Generator
Copy invisible blank space characters, zero-width spaces, and format blank text for Discord, games, and bios. Your work stays on this device whenever possible.
How to use Invisible Character Generator
- Under "Quick-Copy Invisible Characters" click "Copy Blank (U+3164)", "Copy (U+200B)", "Copy (U+2800)" or "Copy (U+200C)".
- For a run, use "Character Type" (Hangul Filler, Zero-Width Space or Braille Blank), set "Quantity" from 1 to 5000 and press "Generate & Copy".
- Paste into the "Live Testing Sandbox & Unicode Inspector" to see the character count, byte size and code points of the first 30 characters.
- Open "Invisible Text Steganography", enter a public cover message and a secret, and press "Encode & Copy Hidden Text".
- To reveal a hidden message paste it into the sandbox and press "Decode from Sandbox".
Worked example
Choose Hangul Filler, Quantity 3 and press Generate & Copy: the clipboard holds three U+3164 characters and the button briefly reads "Copied 3 Characters!". Pasted into the sandbox it shows Character Count 3 and Byte Size 9 bytes. Encoding the secret "Hi" adds 16 hidden characters, the bits 0100100001101001, and Decode returns "Hi".
When to use this tool
- Setting a blank-looking display name in a game or chat profile that rejects empty names.
- Inspecting a pasted string to find a zero-width space that breaks a comparison.
- Leaving an invisible marker in test text to trace where a copy travelled.
Important limitations
Certain gaming platforms and social networks employ strict sanitization filters that strip specific zero-width codepoints. Hangul Filler (U+3164) or Braille Blank (U+2800) typically bypass whitespace filters where U+200B is stripped.

Frequently asked questions
Which invisible character suits which field?
Hangul Filler (U+3164) and Braille Blank (U+2800) are letter-like, so many name fields accept them as non-empty. Zero-width space (U+200B) has no width but is often trimmed as whitespace. Behaviour varies, so test in the target field.
How does the hidden-text encoding work?
The secret's UTF-8 bytes become bits: each 0 is U+200B and each 1 is U+200C, inserted mid-way into the cover text. It is obfuscation, not encryption, and anyone with a decoder can read it.
Why does Decode report no valid secret?
It needs at least one U+200B or U+200C, and their total must divide by 8. If an app stripped or added characters, the count breaks and decoding fails.
Does invisible mean undetectable?
No. The inspector shows every code point, and many sites normalise or remove such characters. Pasting them into code, file names or links can also cause hard-to-find bugs.
What if the copy button does nothing?
Copying relies on the browser clipboard permission. If it is blocked, nothing reaches your clipboard and the page gives no fallback, so allow clipboard access and try again.
