Please read these terms before using ToolkitPoint. Using the site means you accept them.
Description of service
ToolkitPoint provides free, browser-based utilities for text, PDF, image, calculation, developer, and media tasks, plus a small number of tools that check publicly available information about a domain or URL you provide. No account is required or offered.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you to use this site. ToolkitPoint is not directed at children under 13.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use ToolkitPoint to:
- Break any law that applies to you, or infringe someone else's rights;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to ToolkitPoint's servers or the third-party services its live tools rely on;
- Circumvent rate limits or human-verification checks on the server-backed tools;
- Present output from the fictional Test Data Generator as real information about an actual person; or
- Use any tool to process content you do not have the right to process.
Your content
Files and text you process with ToolkitPoint's browser-based tools remain yours. Because that processing happens locally in your browser, ToolkitPoint never receives, stores, or has access to those files or their contents, except for the specific, narrow exceptions disclosed on the relevant tool pages and in the Privacy Policy (for example, the domain or URL you type into a live lookup tool).
No professional advice
Calculators and estimators on this site (health, financial, tax-adjacent, and similar tools) are informational aids, not medical, legal, tax, or investment advice. Verify anything important with a qualified professional or an authoritative source before relying on it.
Bulk copying and redistribution
You may use individual tools for their intended purpose, but you may not bulk scrape, mirror, reproduce, or redistribute ToolkitPoint’s site content or working code under another brand or domain without prior written permission. Normal search-engine crawling that respects published directives is allowed.
Intellectual property
The ToolkitPoint name, site design, and underlying code belong to ToolkitPoint or its licensors. This does not affect your ownership of files you create or process using the tools.
Third-party services
Some tools rely on third-party services (listed in the Privacy Policy) to function. ToolkitPoint does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability or accuracy.
No warranty
ToolkitPoint is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. You are responsible for independently checking any result before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolkitPoint is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, ToolkitPoint.
Advertising
ToolkitPoint may display advertising, including through Google AdSense, to help cover hosting costs. Advertising does not change what a tool does or the result it returns. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising and any related data use works.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
