About ToolkitPoint
ToolkitPoint is a free hub of 184 focused browser tools, built around a simple idea: a useful tool should be quick to find, obvious to use, and free of accounts, trials, or artificial limits.
What ToolkitPoint is
Rather than one large application trying to do everything, ToolkitPoint is a directory of small, single-purpose tools — a PDF merger, an image compressor, a unit converter, a password generator, and dozens more — each on its own dedicated page with its own clear instructions. If you can describe the task in a few words, there is a good chance a dedicated tool already exists for it.
How the tools work
Most tools on this site run entirely inside your browser using JavaScript, Canvas, WebAssembly, or the Web Audio API. Your file or text is read into the browser's own memory, processed there, and the result is offered back to you as a direct download — it is never uploaded to a server. A small number of tools are different because the task genuinely requires it: domain and DNS lookups, redirect and HTTP header checks, a live page SEO check, a PageSpeed check, and a currency converter each need to contact an external service to answer the question at all. Every tool that works this way says so plainly on its own page, and the full detail of what is sent and to whom is in the Privacy Policy.
How tools are built and checked
ToolkitPoint uses automated structural checks across the catalogue and real-input checks for selected high-risk workflows. Coverage is expanded continuously; a tool should not be treated as independently certified merely because its page loads or produces a download. Known limitations are written on the page itself: for example, the PDF compression tool explains that structural optimization may not shrink image-heavy files, rather than promising a result it cannot guarantee. If you find a tool that does not behave as documented, the Contact page explains how to report it.
Why it's free
ToolkitPoint has no subscription, no paywall, and no per-use limit. The site may show advertising to help cover hosting costs; if so, that is disclosed in the Privacy Policy, and showing an advertisement never changes what a tool actually does or the result it returns.
Press and release information
Writers, educators, and software curators can use the press kit for verified facts and downloadable assets. The public changelog records meaningful visitor-facing releases.
