How to use Time Zone Converter & World Clock
- Pick a calendar date and clock reading in the input box; it starts pre-filled with the current moment.
- Set "Entered zone" to the city or region where that reading applies. It starts on Asia/Karachi, so change it if you are elsewhere.
- Under "Show in", tick the destination cities among the twelve offered: UTC, Karachi, Kolkata, Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo, London, Paris, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Sydney.
- Press "Convert" and read one card per ticked city, each showing the local day of the week, date and 12-hour reading.
- Check the status line, which prints the exact UTC timestamp of the moment you entered.
Worked example
Enter 2026-01-15 12:00 with the source zone set to Asia/Karachi (UTC+5), and tick UTC, London, New York and Sydney. UTC shows Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 7:00 AM. London, on winter offset, shows 7:00 AM. New York, at UTC-5, shows 2:00 AM the same day. Sydney, at UTC+11 in southern summer, shows 6:00 PM.

Important limitations
Time-zone rules change and depend on the browser database. Ambiguous or nonexistent local times around daylight-saving transitions may be interpreted differently.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my own city not in the list?
The converter ships a fixed set of twelve IANA zones and cannot search others. Pick a listed city that shares your UTC offset and daylight-saving schedule, or use UTC as a reference and add your local offset.
Is the pre-filled reading in the Karachi zone?
The input box is pre-filled with your device's local clock reading, while the zone selector defaults to Asia/Karachi (UTC+5). Unless you are in Pakistan, switch the selector to your own city before pressing Convert.
How does it handle daylight saving?
Offsets come from the IANA database built into your browser, so a January date and a July date in New York or London automatically apply winter and summer offsets. Very old browsers can carry outdated rules for recent legislative changes.
What happens on the night the clocks change?
A skipped hour, such as 02:30 when clocks spring forward, or a repeated hour when they fall back, is resolved by the browser with one offset and no warning. Avoid scheduling critical events inside those transition windows.
Does it tick live every second?
No. It converts the specific moment you enter across all selected cities at once. Press Convert again with a fresh reading whenever you want an updated comparison.
