How to use Meme Generator & Meme Maker
- Pick the base picture under "Choose an image"; it can be any photo or screenshot.
- Type your lines into "Top caption" and "Bottom caption"; either can be left empty and the tool will draw only the filled one.
- Adjust "Font size (px)" between 16 and 160, starting near 48 for a medium image and going higher for very large ones.
- Choose "Classic White", "Bold Yellow" or "Alert Red" in "Text color"; every caption gets a black outline.
- Press "Create image", review the preview and download the PNG.
Worked example
Load an 800 x 800 picture, enter "me: one quick fix" as the top caption and leave the bottom blank, then keep size 48 and "Classic White". The picture shows ME: ONE QUICK FIX in white capitals with a black outline about 4.8 pixels thick (one tenth of the size), anchored 96 pixels from the top because 12 percent of 800 is 96.

Generated memes render text directly onto canvas pixel buffers; text layers cannot be edited separately after exporting the final image.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my caption in capital letters?
Every caption is converted to uppercase before drawing, in line with the classic meme style. There is no option to keep mixed case, so plan the wording with that in mind.
What happens with a caption that is too long?
It does not wrap onto a second line. The text is squeezed horizontally to fit within 94 percent of the image width, so very long captions become narrow and hard to read. Shorten them or reduce the font size.
Can I choose the font or move the text?
No. The font is bold Impact when your device has it, with a generic bold sans-serif as backup, so the look varies slightly between computers. Captions sit at fixed positions, near the top and bottom.
Does the size setting scale with the picture?
Not automatically. The number is in real pixels of the image, so 48 looks small on a 4000-pixel photo and huge on a 300-pixel one. Scale it to the image.
What format do I get?
A PNG at the original resolution, which can be much heavier than the source JPEG. Convert it afterwards if you need a smaller file. Transparent source areas stay transparent.
