How to use Image Collage Maker
- Select two or more pictures under "Choose images"; the order you pick them in the file dialog is the order they are placed.
- Set "Cell width (px)" between 100 and 2000; each tile is a square of that size.
- Set "Gap (px)" from 0 to 100 for the white space between tiles.
- Press "Build collage" and look at the preview to see how every photo was cropped to fill its square.

Worked example
Choose 5 photos, cell width 600 and gap 12. Columns are the square root of 5 (2.24) rounded up to 3, and rows are 5 divided by 3 rounded up to 2. The canvas is 3 x 600 + 2 x 12 = 1824 pixels wide and 2 x 600 + 12 = 1212 pixels high, with the sixth position left white.

Frequently asked questions
How does the tool choose rows and columns?
It uses columns equal to the square root of the image count, rounded up, and as many rows as needed. Five photos make three columns and two rows, and the empty last slot stays white.
Will my photos be cropped?
Yes. Each picture is enlarged to cover its square tile and the extra is cut evenly from the long sides. Portraits lose top and bottom, landscapes lose left and right.
Can I choose the layout or reorder tiles?
No. There are no templates, drag-and-drop or borders, and the background is always white. Select files in the order you want them arranged. Blank slots at the end of the grid simply stay white.
What output do I get?
A single JPEG at 90 percent quality named collage.jpg, with no transparency. Total size is columns times cell width plus gaps, so 2000 pixel cells with many photos can create a very large canvas.
Is there a limit on photos?
There is no set count, but the whole canvas lives in browser memory. A very large grid can fail on phones, so lower the cell width if the result comes out blank.
