Choose fairly from a list of options using secure randomness. Your work stays on this device whenever possible.
How to use Spinner Wheel
- Type one choice per line into "Options (one per line)"; blank lines are dropped, and at least two lines are needed before a spin will run.
- Or click a preset chip: "Yes / No / Maybe", "Coin Flip (Heads / Tails)", "Dice Roll (1 to 6)" or "Day of Week", which overwrites the box.
- Tick "Remove chosen option from list after selection (Elimination mode)" when every spin should shrink the list, for example to build a speaking order.
- Press "Spin / Choose Fairly" and watch the large display flicker through the options for about a second before it settles on the winner.
- Read the result panel, which lists the WINNER, the Remaining Options, up to five Recent Spins with timestamps, and a closing fairness note.
Worked example
Enter Pizza, Tacos and Sushi on three lines and tick Elimination mode. If the spin lands on Tacos, the display reads a celebration line around Tacos, the panel starts with WINNER: Tacos and shows Remaining Options (2) with bullets for Pizza and Sushi. The Options box now contains only Pizza and Sushi.

Important limitations
Results are generated entirely by random chance and cannot evaluate qualitative merits, personal preferences, or contextual constraints of the options.
Frequently asked questions
Is the flickering animation part of the decision?
No, it is cosmetic. After about 13 quick frames the pick comes from one number produced by crypto.getRandomValues, reduced modulo the option count. That reduction adds a bias far too small to matter for a list of a few dozen entries.
Does typing an option twice change the odds?
Yes. Every line is its own slot and duplicates are never merged, so an entry typed twice in a list of four has a 50 percent chance instead of 25. Repeat a line only when you deliberately want it weighted.
What does Elimination mode do to my text?
It deletes the winner from the Options box itself, not only from the display. When one option is left the tool refuses to spin and asks for two, so copy your original list somewhere first if you need it again.
Is the Recent Spins list saved anywhere?
No. It holds the last five results from the current page session, each with a local time, and there is no export button.
Is the Dice Roll preset a full dice simulator?
It is only a six-line list, so each spin behaves like one fair die. There are no sums of several dice and no other sizes. For a twenty-sided die, type twenty lines of your own.
